All sessions are provided in a one-on-one setting and tailored to each client’s needs. Sessions typically range from 30–60 minutes, with frequency determined collaboratively with the client and/or family to best support progress and meet goals.

We offer secure, virtual teletherapy sessions for clients located anywhere in New York State. Online sessions follow the same individualized, goal-focused approach as in-person therapy, providing a convenient option for many families.

We believe therapy works best when it’s a team effort. That’s why we involve clients and families in every step—from setting goals to practicing strategies at home between sessions.
Coaching for Families & Caregivers
When working with children, we partner closely with parents and caregivers. After each session, we review what was targeted and share specific strategies to carry over skills at home— often through play and daily routines so practice feels natural and engaging.
Session Length, Frequency & Fees
Sessions typically range from 30–60 minutes depending on the client’s age, stamina, and goals. Together we determine how often to meet in order to best support meaningful progress.
Empower Speech Therapy is a private-pay practice. We accept credit cards, cash, check, HSA, and FSA payments.
For families with out-of-network insurance benefits, we provide a detailed superbill that may be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement amounts vary by plan.
